This summer, our Bingo Challenge brought out the best of both movement and taste from our studio community. Here are some of the refreshing, nourishing, and delicious recipes shared by our clients—perfect for fueling your Pilates practice and embracing nutritious food. Try one or all and let us know your favorites!
Summer Kale Salad
1. Soak kale in water and a splash of white vinegar for 30 min
2. Roast corn on the cob on all sides over an open flame
3. Chop off the kernels off of cob and place into bowl. Lightly drizzle EVOO and season with salt and pepper.
4. Shred 2 large carrots and season the same as corn.
5. Strain and rinse cannellini beans until water is clear. Season lightly with sazon and sazón total
6. Strain and rinse kale. Once partially dry, lightly drizzle with salt and pepper
7. Slice cherry tomatoes in half and combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
8. optional: add mozzarella pearls and toss again
9. Lightly dress combined salad with dressing of choice. Serve with protein of choice

CORN SALSA
August is corn season in NJ!
3 ears of corn, decorned with the utensil in the photo
1/3 cup of diced(small pieces) tomato
1/3 cup of diced(small pieces) red onion
8-10 sprigs of cilantro diced(small pieces) remove most of the stems
1/2 or a a whole jalapeno diced(small pieces)
one large or two small pieces of garlic diced(smaller than the tomato
or red onion)
juice of 2 limes
salt and pepper to your taste
Note: the jalapeno makes it hot so be wary as to amount, and once you
refrigerate it, it tastes even better.
